Sunset at punta cometa

Let’s experience the magic of the sunset at Punta Cometa, Mexico’s highest mountain in the South Pacific. Its strategic location allows us to appreciate magnificent sunsets from this area, surrounded by an atmosphere of mysticism and energy that radiates throughout the population.

We start the tour leaving Puerto Escondido, until we reach the town of Mazunte located on the Costa Esmeralda where we can walk the streets of the place to see its traditions up close, see the elaboration of its famous products, as well as, know the symbolic attributes and its beautiful architecture that led it to be recognized as a magical town.

We will continue with a hike to the hill of Punta Comet, we will go with our guide into the trails of abundant vegetation to appreciate the main flora and fauna of the place, while we approach the horizon to contemplate the landscape combined with the majestic immensity of the sea. Until we reach the recognized tip of the place where we will witness the sunset in the ocean and the skies tinged with fascinating colors.

According to the season, we will take time to have lunch in town (optional), and then return to Puerto Escondido.
